A team from National Heart Foundation of Bangladesh led by Professor Dr. Sohel Reza Choudhury met with Professor Dr. Md. Habibe Millat MP on 26 December 2019. Achieving universal health coverage (UHC), control and prevention of NCDs, combat tobacco- the leading cause of NCDs, bring out the tobacco control issues to the consideration of higher policy leaders were the meeting agenda.

Professor Dr. Md. Habibe Millat MP considered the issues and given commitment to do the needful. Finally he mentioned about some of his desires to organize high official meetings with appropriate policy leaders.
